Standard Screws
 

Including feeding, transition (melting) and metering sections, standard screws are suitable to use in injection and extrusion processes. As EFOR LTD, we design and manufacture our screws uniquely, to our customers, according to, their material formula used in production.

Barrier Screws
 

Being suitable for materials with higher melting properties, barrier screws have barrier structure at their transition (melting) sections, which, melts the plastic raw material by pressure in addition to temperature and increase the rate of mixing

The main advantages of barrier screws are;

• Improved melt quality

• Higher efficiency compared to standard screws

• Better  conformance with recycled plastics

• Energy efficiency by requiring less heat.

Double Diameter Screws
 

Being suitable for materials with very high melting properties(rubber) and, materials recycling, double diameter screws have increased diameter at the metering section to increase feeding capacity whereas, following sections with smaller diameter provides higher pressure zones and leads to high quality melt.

Using with barrels “with degassing zone”, especially in recycling, extracts the trapped air inside the plastic material at its degassing zone and increase the quality of recycled plastic material
